A construction management firm, first.
NYSIDI is built around the discipline of construction management. Successful projects begin long before construction starts — through thoughtful planning, disciplined management, and an understanding of how design, budgeting, scheduling, and field operations work together from day one.
The firm's approach centers on construction management, preconstruction services, and general contracting support across commercial, institutional, public, and select residential work — partnering closely with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to build realistic pathways from concept through completion.
Rooted in the Hudson Valley and built on strong local relationships, NYSIDI prioritizes communication, organization, and execution — building intelligently, managing responsibly, and delivering work with long-term value in mind.
NYSIDI — New York Sustainable Infrastructure Development Initiatives — was born out of a 2018 initiative centered on sustainable communities and infrastructure. That orientation continues today, including current involvement in housing initiatives that align with long-term community growth across New York State.
A firm is most clearly understood by the shape of the work it manages — its disciplines, its markets, and its standing.
Two kinds of project. Two ways in.
Commercial and residential clients arrive with different questions. Each division is built for the work — and the buyer — it serves.

Led with consistency, resilience, and accountability.
Construction has never been about simply building structures for me. It has always been about understanding the process behind them — how projects come together, how problems are solved, and how planning, people, and execution ultimately determine success.
NYSIDI is founded and led by Antoinette Khamsopa. Her approach centers practical leadership, accountability, and relationships — building the firm around understanding budgets, coordinating teams, anticipating challenges, and maintaining clear communication throughout the process. Leadership, in her words, is less about titles and more about consistency, resilience, and showing up every day prepared to solve problems.

Trust, earned through execution.
Out of six qualified bids, I chose Antoinette and NYSIDI not only because of their competitive proposal, but because of their passion, integrity, and commitment to excellence. As a small business owner myself, I value supporting local businesses, and partnering with a woman-owned company that takes such pride in their work made the decision easy.
From start to finish, Antoinette and her team delivered an exceptional experience. They built with care, communicated every step of the way, and never cut corners. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and dedication transformed our vision into reality, and I couldn't be more grateful for the partnership.
What truly set NYSIDI apart was their ability to guide us through the entire process — not only the construction work itself, but navigating the town, permits, inspections, and approvals. Their knowledge made what could have been a complicated process feel smooth and manageable.
We were truly dreading the home project process — budgets, managing personnel and personalities, the logistics. Meanwhile I'd drive by a house NYSIDI was working on and think, that's a really nice house, we should call them first. So glad we did. Antoinette is a next-level communicator; she and her team are collaborative, enthusiastic, and go above and beyond. We needed major hand-holding throughout, and she made sure we were taken care of the entire way.
NYSIDI was a huge help during a stressful time. We were in a bind with our previous builder, and they offered us the best path forward to build our home. We appreciated the responsiveness, the communication, and the follow-through on the important items throughout the project.
How working with NYSIDI begins.
Every project starts with the same first step — a conversation about scope, intent, and fit.
-
01
The inquiry
You tell us about the project — its type, its scale, and what you need from a construction manager. Commercial, public-sector, and residential inquiries are all welcome.
-
02
Scope & preconstruction
We work through scope, budget, and schedule before any cost is committed — so the project begins with a clear, shared understanding of what is being built and how.
-
03
Managed delivery
NYSIDI manages the build to its standards — holding schedule, budget, and quality to account, and protecting the client through every stage of the process.
Questions owners ask first.
What does a construction manager actually do on my project?
A construction manager coordinates the whole project — scope, schedule, budget, and the trades — and is accountable for how they work together. NYSIDI leads the planning before construction starts and manages the build through completion, so there is one point of responsibility from concept to finish rather than a collection of disconnected contractors.
What is preconstruction, and why does it matter?
Preconstruction is the early-stage work that happens before the first cost is committed — budgeting, constructability review, design coordination, and scheduling analysis. It is where most of a project's risk is either managed or created. Getting it right is what keeps a build on schedule and on budget once it begins.
What does NYSIDI's WBE and WOSB certification mean for a project?
NYSIDI is a New York State-certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) and a federally certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB). For public and institutional projects, those certifications can support participation goals and set-aside considerations. For a verification of specific eligibility on a given opportunity, reach out and NYSIDI will walk you through it directly.
Does NYSIDI take on custom residential work?
Yes — selectively. NYSIDI takes on a limited number of custom home projects and brings the same discipline of construction management to them: planning, accountability, and personalized execution. Residential work is approached as managed construction, not volume homebuilding.
What areas does NYSIDI serve?
NYSIDI is based in Warwick, New York, and is rooted in the Hudson Valley. The firm works on commercial, institutional, public-sector, and select residential projects across New York State.
